Platform
The DICOM router with an HL7 brain — on-prem and in the cloud.
RadFuzion receives, decides, and moves imaging across cloud DICOM stores and traditional PACS, driven by both DICOM and HL7 — with the tools to control studies wherever they live.
Windows or Linux
Run it wherever it suits you.
RadFuzion runs on Windows or 64-bit Linux — your choice, same product either way. Every module is available on both, including RadSR's OCR and structured-report extraction.
Container or installer
Deploy the container image on any Docker host — one command, two volumes, and upgrades are an image swap. Or run the guided installer on Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+, or RHEL/Rocky/Alma 8+. Windows keeps its setup wizard.
No Windows license on a cloud VM
A Linux VM carries no Windows Server license to buy or bring, which is most of the difference in the monthly bill for a cloud-hosted router.
No database server either
SQLite is embedded and needs no configuration on either platform — nothing to install, license, or administer. PostgreSQL is there for high-volume sites when you want it.
Dictation for RadRead is bundled on Windows and available as an optional add-on component on Linux. RadBurn stays a Windows companion app for disc writing, and works with a RadFuzion server on either platform.
Cloud-connected routing
Send, query, and edit across cloud and on-prem.
Forward, query, and C-MOVE across Google Cloud DICOM stores, DICOMweb, Azure DICOM, AWS S3, local storage, and traditional PACS — from one rule engine.
- check_circleDestinations: Google Cloud, DICOMweb, Azure, AWS S3, local storage, DICOM C-STORE
- check_circleQuery and retrieve from cloud and on-prem sources
- check_circleEdit and re-push studies stored in the cloud
- check_circleOne rule set spanning every destination type
- check_circlePer-destination retry, failover, and tag transforms
HL7 + DICOM
HL7 orders that drive DICOM workflows.
Most DICOM routers stop at DICOM. RadFuzion reads HL7 orders and lets them drive routing, prefetch, worklist, and reporting.
- check_circleHL7 ORM-driven prefetch of relevant priors
- check_circleHL7-aware routing and facility mapping
- check_circleRadGen7 — generate placeholder DICOM from HL7 ORM
- check_circleRadDicom7 — generate HL7 ORM from forwarded DICOM
- check_circleORU delivery for preliminary reports
Platform tools
Tag Editor, Merge/Split, and Query/Retrieve.
Cloud PACS vendors often don’t let you manage images after upload. These tools give you that control — on cloud and on-prem alike.
- check_circleTag Editor — edit DICOM tags in cloud and on-prem stores
- check_circleMerge / Split — reorganize studies across sources
- check_circleQuery / Retrieve — pull from any configured source
- check_circleAnonymization — reusable tag-transform profiles
- check_circleManual upload and push
